Ibiza wedding photography · Mike & Monica
From London.
With love.
To Ibiza.
They had always dreamed of getting married on Ibiza. A celebration by the sea, their favourite people close by, and a day that felt completely their own.
A destination wedding story by Adrian Mazur

Their story
A London couple.
An island they dreamed of.
For Mike and Monica, home was London, but the place they imagined saying their vows was Ibiza. That long-held dream became a beautiful wedding beside the Mediterranean, with the sea stretching behind them and their friends and family gathered around.
What I love about these photographs is how much personality there is in them. The excitement before the ceremony. Mike laughing with his friends. Monica with her bridesmaids. A hand held tightly, a glance across the ceremony, and those unplanned moments when everyone simply lets go.
This gallery follows their day through those little connections, from the preparations to portraits on the rocky coast. The island gives the photographs a sense of place. Mike, Monica and the people they love give them their heart.
01 / Before the vows
The excitement starts here.
A drink by the window, the finishing touches, and friends getting ready together. The wedding story begins well before the ceremony, with all the anticipation and laughter that make the morning feel so alive.
02 / Beside the Mediterranean
The moment they came for.
With a ceremony overlooking the water, the setting was unmistakably Ibiza. But my attention kept coming back to the people: the smiles as Monica arrived, Mike’s expression, the guests watching closely, and the emotion that moved through the gathering.
Wide photographs hold the whole scene. The closer frames bring you back to what it felt like to be there.
They brought their story from London.
Ibiza became part of it.
03 / Their people
A celebration to share.
The group photographs belong in this story, too. The quieter portraits and the wonderfully unrestrained ones sit side by side: a reminder that a wedding album should have room for everyone’s personality.
04 / A little time together
Sea air. Open space.
Just the two of them.
On the rocky shoreline, there was space to move, laugh and enjoy being together. A lifted glass, a veil caught by the breeze, and a walk hand in hand bring the gallery to a joyful close.
The four warm sunset portraits in this gallery have been creatively enhanced, including the sky and surrounding scenery.
Thinking about your own Ibiza wedding?
Make space for the day.
And the photographs.
Mike and Monica’s gallery shows how a destination can become part of a wedding story. If you are dreaming of an Ibiza celebration, start with the experience you want to share, then build a photography plan around it.
Let the setting breathe.
Leave room for photographs that show the landscape as well as portraits of you together. A wide coastal view and a close, emotional frame tell different parts of the same story.
Plan around the light.
Talk through the ceremony time, the direction of the light and a short portrait break with your photographer. Keep the plan flexible so you can respond to the conditions on the day.
Keep your people close.
Agree a short list of the group photographs that matter most. Share it with someone who knows your guests, so everyone can return to the celebration without a long wait.
Think about the coast.
Bring comfortable footwear for uneven ground and give yourselves time to get between locations. Wind can be beautiful in photographs; a simple backup plan helps you enjoy it without pressure.
A few questions, answered
Ibiza wedding photography FAQs
Can our photographs feel relaxed and still show the island?
Yes. A mix of candid moments, wider views and a little time for portraits gives your gallery both personality and a sense of place. You do not need to spend the whole day away from your guests.
Should we set aside time for portraits near sunset?
If that light is important to you, discuss a short portrait window when planning your timeline. The location, season and weather all affect what is possible, so keep expectations flexible and have another option in mind.
What if it is windy or cloudy?
We can work with the conditions, choose a more sheltered spot or adjust the timing. Clouds can soften the light, and a little movement in a dress or veil can become a lovely part of the photograph.
How do we plan photography when we live in London?
Send your date, venue or ceremony location, and the parts of the day you would like photographed. We can talk through the coverage, travel and portrait plans before you leave for the island.
What should we ask before booking a destination wedding photographer?
Ask to see complete galleries, talk about the approach to portraits and candid moments, and confirm coverage, travel arrangements, delivery and backup plans in writing. Feeling comfortable with the person behind the camera matters, too.
