Start with the venue as it is today
The attraction of the name is easy to understand: a country-house setting with a distinctive design identity. But older wedding features are not a reliable guide to what can now be booked. For couples inspired by those images, the useful starting point is to identify what you love: dramatic interiors, unusual objects, generous architecture or a weekend in the countryside.
Making room for photographs
Those preferences can guide the photography wherever you ultimately celebrate.
