Venue guide · Wedding photography

OXO Tower Restaurant offers a South Bank wedding with the Thames and London skyline as part of the experience. This is the eighth-floor restaurant and brasserie setting, distinct from the OXO2 event venue lower in the building.
A city celebration with a view and a meal
The terrace and river outlook give the reception a strong sense of London, while the restaurant setting keeps food and hospitality central. It is a compelling option for couples who prefer an established dining experience to building a reception from scratch. The skyline can provide a memorable backdrop without needing to dominate the entire day.
Making room for photographs
I would keep terrace portraits brief and respond to the wind and light on the day. A few wider pictures can show the river, then closer photographs can bring the focus back to the people. Plan any additional South Bank portraits around the public space and the time you want to spend with guests.
Before you book
Confirm the specific restaurant, brasserie or exclusive-hire arrangement, along with ceremony options and terrace access. Ask about the wet-weather plan and how dinner, speeches and evening celebrations fit the selected space. Make sure suppliers know which OXO venue you have booked.
Venue information checked October 2026. Venue details and further information. Confirm arrangements directly with the venue for your date.
