A hotel celebration at the water’s edge
The venue offers different scales of gathering, from the Regent Room to the larger Empress Suite. The appeal is the combination of event hospitality, accommodation and a recognisable coastal setting. It can work particularly well when guests are travelling and the wedding becomes part of a weekend in the city.
Making room for photographs
I would keep any seafront portraits brief and flexible around wind, weather and public activity. The hotel interiors provide an important alternative, especially for winter celebrations. A few photographs that establish the coast can sit alongside a warmer, more intimate record of the ceremony and reception.
